Our Work

New Way Ministries’ primary mission is in running free tuition in villages where there is need. Villages are chosen where parents themselves work long hours, have low literacy and cannot therefore help their children to the extent needed. One or two teachers are paid by New Way Ministries to work in each centre, supporting students in the work they bring home from school. Tuition runs five nights per week for children between the ages of 5 and 16 years.

in 2020 New Way Ministries developed a program called Free Futures where schools from Australia may apply to be a sister school to one of our Tuition Centres in India. The program aims to provide life changing connections between Australian and Indian students. Australian students are in the unique position of having the support and resources to meet the needs of others in a meaningful way. The program is student led and requires Australian students to develop their entrepreneurial skills to support Indian students in areas of personal interest. Areas may include, media and marketing, teaching, community connection and many more. The program is adaptable for primary, secondary, and senior secondary students.

Sponsorship opportunities exist for Australians where a monthly commitment of $100 provides education support for one whole tuition centre of 20-30 students. Sponsors receive personalised updates about the work and events happening in the tuition centre they support.
